To connect electricians with their families through a virtual medium and then take it forward across digital social media and messaging platforms
The first step was to identify electricians living here in Mumbai and locating their families back home. It initiated with identifying the families of the electricians, visiting them – a task which had the team spanning the country’s length and breadth unknown to the electricians, teams from the RR Kabel crew were deployed to these various remote hinterland areas of India to set up virtual connections at these electricians' homes. Meanwhile, here in the city, the electricians were called to an office on the pretext of doing some repair work. Just as they were about to start work, the live and interactive video feed of their dear ones came alive on a TV nearby. What followed was a mixture of surprise, disbelief and a sea of overwhelming emotions and wordless gratitude that cannot be fathomed by written prose. Once the video was created it was promoted across digital social media and messaging platforms.
